DUNES: Yeah, totally. This album is me trying to talk about all this shit that no one wants to talk about, all the little stuff that goes on between the lines. That shit, like you said, trauma during the pandemic, that’s something that people just pretend didn’t even happen. I’m not talking about the pandemic itself, but the heightened ratcheting up of our emotional lives was representative of something that had been going on since Trump was elected.
