Southwestern College is hosting the inaugural Small Business Expo this Friday to help San Diegans who want to grow their current businesses or jump start an entrepreneurial idea.
The expo will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Southwestern College Performing Arts Center at 900 Otay Lakes Rd. in Chula Vista. Light refreshments will be served and free parking is available nearby.If any small business owners want to learn about government contracting and how to finance that work, they can learn how to do both at this event, said Daniel Fitzgerald, regional director of the Small Business Development Center network.
While the Small Business Development Center holds events on lending, contracting and assistance year-round, Fitzgerald said this is a unique one-stop shop for business owners to get information in a single day.
