“We are shocked by the recent Executive Order, which was issued without any due process,” the companyearly Friday morning. “For nearly a year, we have sought to engage with the US government in good faith to provide a constructive solution to the concerns that have been expressed.

The order also said that TikTok “reportedly censors” content about the Chinese government’s treatment of Uighur Muslims, as well as “sensitive” videos showing protests.

“This Executive Order risks undermining global businesses' trust in the United States' commitment to the rule of law, which has served as a magnet for investment and spurred decades of American economic growth,” TikTok said. “And it sets a dangerous precedent for the concept of free expression and open markets.

Shocking, he's at it again...

Of all the enemies Trump has made, pissing off millions of TikTokers May be to most detrimental. They will make his campaign hell

Initially thought - just Trump being a dick again. But then considered China bans countless US media platforms. Fair is fair, if China blocks US services, why should the US allow Chinese competing services. Hate to side with Trump :-(

Go away. Fight a different battle.
