TikTok Asks Judge to Halt Trump Administration’s Download Ban

WASHINGTON—TikTok Inc. asked a federal judge to stop the Trump administration from imposing a ban on the popular video-sharing app over national-security concerns.

In a court-filed injunction request Wednesday, TikTok lawyers told a D.C. district court judge that the U.S. government’s proposed ban violates constitutional provisions for free speech and due process.

They had due process... TikTok is run by the chinese communists... an enemy state. bye bye

Banning this app just cause the POTUS can't stand how he was trolled before his Oklahoma no-show rally is like the modern parallel to the Nazis' burning of books in the 1930's

What a joke. Tiktok argues for freedom of speech while it doesn’t allow free speech, is heavily censored and controlled by Chinese Communist Party.

Trump has the power to nominate a justice for the third time in his presidency, which will leave the U.S. Supreme Court with a 6-3 split between conservative and liberal justices. Mr Trump's executive powers will also no longer be reined in, which is terrifying.

Free Speech is for US citizens only. Chinese owned TikTok has no constitutional right. Citizens choose TikTok at their wishes, but TikTok has no right to argue its assumptions at the US court. The US sovereignty is not submissive to any chinese wish!
