New events and experiences are planned for the Texas Renaissance Festival's 49th year, which kicks off on Oct. 7-Nov. 26. Adding to the excitement, there will be more interactive experiences for adults and children, with 21 stages of entertainment, more than 400 shops, demonstrations, acrobats, games, rides, restaurants, The King's Feast, jugglers and themed weekends. For the eight-week festival, children aged five and under will get free entry every Saturday, and children aged 12 and under will get free entry every Sunday.
The Texas Renaissance Festival is also introducing new"Stay and Play" packages for eventgoers and families who wish to stay for the weekend. These packages include admission to the festival, a camping pass, access to special events, and admission to The Knight's Club after-hours party.Bringing together food, special acts, Renaissance enchantment and more than half a million visitors each year, the Texas Renaissance Festival is the nation’s largest festival of its kind.
