Sun, May 19th 2024 at 8:08 PMThe pets were saved by firefighters after an electrical fire broke out from an AC unit at the South Side home. No one was injured.
Around 6:25 p.m. on Saturday, firefighters responded to calls of a house fire near the corner of East Baetz Boulevard and Pleasanton Road on the South Side. Battalion Chief Russel Johnson said the fire originated from an air conditioning unit at the back of the home and appeared to be an electrical issue from the overloaded A.C.
