A staggering 98% of people who knew people who go on to be shooters sensed something was amiss, he said. “Something has affected their identity, their feeling of self worth,” he told the Tennessean. “People don’t want to come in and shoot up the place,” he said. “Let’s deal with them when they’re fantasizing about the shooting.”

Prince added he felt “more guns equals more death,” according to The Tennessean, and adding more security and protection measures or arming more people, such as teachers, were not the answer.
