In Sudan, no one is clear on what happens after al-BashirCAIRO (AP) — As violent anti-government protests enter their fourth week, Sudan appears headed toward political paralysis, with drawn-out unrest across much of the country and a fractured opposition without a clear idea of what to do if their wish to see the country's leader of 29 years go comes true. Even for a country that looks unwieldy when its's not tearing itself apart, President Omar al-Bashir's years at the helm have turned Sudan into a cautionary tale — from genocide and bloody rebellions to ethnic cleansing, starvation and rampant corruption. Does anyone really care who or how places like Sudan, Somalia, the Congo are governed or even if they are governed at all. All that needs to be done is deny their people access to richer nations and they will have to work out their problems on their own. After 30 years of power, it's hard to find a good successor to his Whaaaa?

If he’s in bad health the humanitarian thing to Dow would be to do to him what we do to all other terminally ill dogs. Euthanasia. Humanitarian? Was the attack humane? Lets just hope that he does not exit with a bang and be humane for the remainder of his life. SMH

Sudan's chief prosecutor says 24 killed in ongoing unrestCAIRO (AP) — The Sudanese government says more than three weeks of anti-government protests has left 24 people dead. That's a casualty toll higher by five from the previous tally announced by authorities. The General Prosecutor on Saturday said nine of those killed were in Gadaref, a province southeast of Khartoum close to the Ethiopian and Eritrean borders. The rest were killed in Khartoum's twin city of Omdurman and regions north and northeast of the capital. Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International say at least 40 have been killed in the protests, initially sparked by price rises and shortages but soon shifted to calls on Sudan's longtime ruler Omar al-Bashir to step down. All country's=If an election is fair and honest- the losing side must except the outcome=democracy. we don't even see this in the U.S.A. Even when they've lost control of everything, African dictators never want to pack up & leave. They think the country's personal property. Under manipulated elections with preconceived fake results they perpetuate power, killing people with every kind of weapons...!
