Thousands Gather at National Mall, Renewing Racial-Justice Push

WASHINGTON—Thousands of demonstrators arrived at the Lincoln Memorial for a rally meant to hark back to the civil-rights struggles and accomplishments of the 1960s, with activists set to renew their push for policing overhauls in response to recent police killings of Black citizens.

The group will march from the Lincoln Memorial to the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial about a half-mile away. Organized by the Rev. Al Sharpton and his civil-rights organization, the National Action Network, it is being held on the 57th anniversary...
