Central Michigan's Thomas Incoom (ThomasIncoom_) is one of the most intriguing QB hunters in the 2023 NFLDraft. Incoom chatted with JustinM_NFL about his pass-rush arsenal, debunking the small-school narrative, what he proved at the Senior Bowl & more.

Incoom recently spoke exclusively with The Draft Network. Incoom discussed his recent experience at the Senior Bowl and what he proved to NFL general managers and scouts in attendance. Incoom also touched on his pass-rush arsenal, debunking the small-school narrative, and more.Thomas Incoom: I had a great experience. It gave me an opportunity to learn from NFL coaches. I was around NFL scouts while competing against some of the best seniors in the nation.

JM: That’s such an underrated aspect of the process. You met with all 32 teams in attendance. What was that process like? JM: Now that you’ve had time to reflect on it, how do you look back on the decision to transfer from Valdosta State to Central Michigan? JM: It certainly worked out for you. You exploded in 2022 by recording a career-high 11.5 sacks. What changed for you? What led to such progression?

Thomas Incoom: When people ask me about Central Michigan being a small school, I honestly say that I disagree. I don’t think Central Michigan is a small school. Not at all. We play a bunch of Power 5 teams. When we get those opportunities, we always save our best performances for the biggest opponents on our schedule.

Thomas Incoom: I would definitely say Patrick Mahomes. To get a sack on him, you have to showcase terrific effort. That’s why I chose him. He’s always trying to make something happen by extending the play. Sacking Mahomes would showcase my effort on film. That would mean a lot to me. You need to have a never-give-up mindset to sack Mahomes.
