This unique five-bedroom Dallas home near Bachman Branch was recently updated PoshProperties

Mary Grace GranadosThis home along Inwood Road is hidden from street view, tucked behind a gate at the base of a winding driveway. Positioned on a 1.83-acre lot, the home backs up to a creek. A large patio along the back of the house provides views of the creek and surrounding greenery.

The 8,727-square-foot home was built in 1985 and designed by noted architect Bud Oglesby, according to the listing. The home was updated this year. Co-listing agent Allie Beth Allman said the recent updates, which were completed this year, maintained the original design, noting that “they didn’t change the floor plan that much.” She said the foyer has an entrance and staircase that were part of Oglesby’s original design.

The home’s five bedrooms, six bathrooms and one half-bathroom are split between two levels. One bedroom is on the first floor and the remaining four are upstairs, including the primary suite. Just inside the front door, in the home’s foyer, the winding staircase is a visual focal point. Large windows throughout the home fill the space with natural light.

Co-listing agent Raul Ruiz said that an upstairs outdoor space, which originally connected the main house to a separate structure, was enclosed to create an upstairs game room with a bar. Windows along either side of this space provide views of the surrounding property. The home also has an elevator to provide access between the two levels.“The backyard is just breathtaking,” Allman said.

The home at 10573 Inwood Road is listed for $6,975,000 by Allie Beth Allman and Raul Ruiz of Allie Beth Allman & Associates.series, providing a glimpse inside nice homes in North Texas for those who love to look at houses. It is not paid for or presented by area real estate agents or companies.
