WASHINGTON – Freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez denounced a conservative group on Twitter on Wednesday after it labeled her as a"domestic terrorist," saying similar rhetoric consistently leads to a spike in threats against her life.
"This puts me in danger every time. "We apologize to Congresswoman Ocascio-Cortez for the use of unacceptable language in this email, and we do not approve of the message conveyed," the Ohio College Republican Federation said on Twitter. Omar was accused of anti-Semitism for her criticisms of Israel and pro-Israel American lobbying organizations. She was criticized again this week for remarks that surfaced in which she referred to the 9/11 terrorist attack that killed nearly 3,000 people as "something" that"some people did."
