“It is time we do something about the Roberts court's assault on democracy. Expanding the Supreme Court is our only option,” Jones wrote in. “Court expansion would not cause a death spiral of democracy. That death spiral is already here. And it will only get worse if we do nothing.” Even under a Biden presidency and with Democrats in the majority in both chambers, Jones worries that the Supreme Court could still be a major impediment to a progressive agenda.
