Today’s users want to be aware of what their data is being used for, and to have more control over it. to launch a new privacy tool called Off-Facebook Activity. The feature allows you to view a summary of the information the social network receives about your use of non-Facebook apps and websites. You can then disconnect the data from your account if you wish to.
Quite rightly, some people find this quite intrusive, which is why Facebook has rolled out this new privacy tool. promoting the Off-Facebook Activity tool, which was first trialled last August in Spain, Ireland and South Korea. You can use the tool now by going to your Settings>Your Facebook information>Off-Facebook Activity. You can then see a revealing summary of the apps and websites that have shared your activity and manage and remove these by clicking “Manage your off-Facebook activity” on the right-hand side of the page. You can also choose to “clear history.”
