This Jacket Is the Only Thing That Is Getting Dara Excited for Fall

Author:Dara PrantUpdated:Sep 16, 2019Original:Sep 16, 2019I don't like fall, and I don't get all the hype around it. Perhaps it's my aversion to cold and any slight chill — I'm happiest when it's 95 degrees — or it's that I'm from Texas and the season itself is a foreign concept to me.

Unfortunately, temperatures are dropping, putting my go-to summer playsuit out of business and leaving me with the daunting tasks of finding my knitwear — which is stuffed somewhere under my bed — and picking a transitional jacket. This year, I'm going with a relaxed fit fleece number from & Other Stories in a cool beige. It screams cozy, and I like that it doesn't come in a predictable shade of black.
