For various reasons, Amazon is not always the best option for its customers. As Friend pointed out, Amazon competes with some of its AWS customers in retail and movies and entertainment. When competing for large corporate customers, Microsoft has an advantage because it offers Azure customers bundled pricing and discounts on Office 365. And Friend says that Wasabi offers a nearly identical cloud storage service to the one AWS provides — at 20% of the price — a value proposition that appeals to industries that store large amounts of data.
