Share to twitterTHIS IS US --"Strangers" Episode 401 -- Pictured: Mandy Moore as Rebecca, Milo Ventimiglia as Jack -- Considering we have waited almost six months for the return of the fictional clan named Pearson on NBC’s, I wanted some answers. I wanted to know how Kate and Toby’s newborn was doing. I wanted an update on Randall and Beth and, in particular, their daughter Tess now that she has revealed her sexual identity.
Like you, I craved an update on what is my favorite fictional family. And while we did get some resolution in those last few minutes of the fourth season premiere oflast night, getting through that episode, where a glut of new characters we never met before was featured, was like watching an episode ofNaturally, I knew these strangers would have a connection to the characters onwe have come to know and enjoy watching.
While I understand the need to keep any series fresh, I think the gradual addition of new faces is the route to travel. And I firmly believe that populating this season-opening episodes with people we don’t know – or care about – is a recipe for mass audience defection. After waiting this long for some answers, I felt particularly tortured following the lives of these strangers. I don’t care to learn anything else about them.
I’m pretty sure Forbes has a bunch of writers watch a bunch of tv shows and then assigns them to write about the shows they don’t like. That, and people who don’t really like TV
I felt exactly the same way through nine-tenths of the episode. bigdisappointment
