After checking into the hotel, Kang purchased a hammer and flashlight from an Ace Hardware store, dressed in all black with gloves and a mask, and entered the fellow gamer’s unlocked home at about 2 a.m. on Sunday, according to the sheriff. Sheriff’s deputies found “a significant amount of blood in the entryway of the home and the victim’s bedroom,” Leeper said.“The suspect flew from Newark, New Jersey, to Florida, apparently to confront the victim in person, to kill the victim,” Leeper said.
