"I want to cry after reading this. I got coerced into throwing a wedding that I really didn't feel displayed my husband's and my personalities at all. You guys did it to the nines and stayed true to yourselves. I am so proud of you for sticking with it! Sounds like the best day ever, which it should be," wrote someone else.
From the Reddit thread, it appears the women who didn't have wedding dresses were encouraged to wear "that one dress they only wore once," like to prom or another special occasion. "We had such a good time," Moore tells BuzzFeed. "We really wanted it to be sweet and also just taken seriously in the love for each other but not taken so seriously in any sort of pomp and circumstance."
