They forgot to mention it is the BEST little airport in the country! If you fly out of Atlanta, BHM or Nashville, you have to take into account your time, gas, mileage, and parking which makes it worth it, IMO.

It's because the airlines only fly small planes to Huntsville except Delta. The demand and growth is explosive but the legacy airlines won't increase capacity. A lot of it has to with pilots unions. The unions will not let subsidiaries (skywest, American eagle,etc) fly big jets

Well if the majority of their business is government fliers, that's the reason their fares are high. The government does not bother with deals or sales.

Even though I live close to Huntsville airport, I don’t think I’ve ever used it. Nashville or Atlanta is wayyyy cheaper and much better options typically
