California is currently facing the highest gas prices in the nation, with costs in one town surpassing $6 a gallon

BRIDGEPORT, Calif.—When Miguel Lujan needs gasoline for his truck, he gets it in Carson City, Nev., located 80 miles from his hometown. It’s worth it, the store clerk and roller-derby player says, to pay one-third less than the local average of nearly $6 a gallon.

California currently has the highest gas prices in the nation, an average of $4.70 a gallon of regular unleaded, according to AAA. Gasoline prices in the U.S. were up 50% in October from the same month last year, amid

Good! POTUS wanted this and he got it.

Truly WSJ has sunk to tabloid levels. A dozen other posts have pointed out how misleading this article is. The real shame here is that a paper that had historically been one of the best In the hands of partisan politicos, has become a joke.

I have no sympathy for a state that consistently votes to ruin itself. See .. Newsome, Pelosi, Waters, Schiff, Swalwell. I know there are good people who are stuck there but I’m sorry.

Yah and our governments allow OPEC to control our lives and steal ordinary workers wages

JUST HOW MUCH DOES CALIFORNIA slap taxes on gas? $6...it's only HALF that in the midwest and South. Lucky the Feds didn't charge gas buyers the cost at the PUMP of the Military defending oil in the Mideast!

Just paid $4.75 in Santa Cruz, California for premium (cash price).

Joe; let them eat cake

They all drive Teslas in Cali so no worries.

I bike to work. Time to lose the gas guzzler. But yeah 99.9% of the US is not $6. So......

I'm paying $4.45 in San Diego

Dems : it's Trumps fault .. gas should have never been as low as it was

Let’s Go, Brandon

Ooooh, so that’s like $150 a litre.

Shame on you! Remote town 30 miles from the nearest gas station. Keep your focus on Wall Street, where the real gauging of America happens.

In Italy the average price today is $7.50, kiss your elbows.

Call it what it is! Price gouging.

Just like last time.

Time to buy electric

I don't understand the big deal with gas prices going up a dollar or two per gallon. That's $10-$20 a month more in gas for me. That's not even pocket change. Is everyone so desperately poor in this country that they can't handle a budget fluctuation of $10-$20?
