semi-frequently knows that it's Gen Z, not millennials, who rule the roost. While the internet era that preceded this era was built on bitterness, anonymous accounts and spitting vitriol at people who don’t deserve it. The zoomers of TikTok, however, have taken a more novel approach: they're mostly slagging off millennials for their silly buying habits and interests instead.
It all started over the weekend when TikTokker @mayalepa uploaded a video to her account with the following pointed observation: “Tired of boomers bunching gen Z and millennials together because I personally don’t want to be associated with people who still think that Harry Potter movies are a personality trait.”
In lieu of targeted, personal takedowns, the comments section became a minefield of piercingly accurate observations of the much-maligned generation. User @nbayoungthot has racked up over 13.5k likes so far with the comment: “They be 34 talking about “i’m a hufflepuff” like grow up and do a line of coke already”. “And they say doggo” @hell0kittystan pointed out, while @babybluecoupe stated “they’re the real life representation of those ‘pizza is life’ shirts like..
Dang, didn’t expect to try and get clout with zoomers
Who cares
