We all know the stats: 68% of American women wear a size 14 or above. Yet walk into many stores, and the sizes available tell a different story—one in which fashionable women who wear plus-size clothing simply don't exist. Obviously, that's not the case. We're there; the fashion industry is not.
The past few years have brought progress, though, and at Glamour we've long strived to include size-inclusive options in our shopping coverage. But we wanted to make it even easier to find stylish, modern pieces in extended sizes. And that's how our first-ever Plus-Size Fashion Awards were born. We polled hundreds of readers about what they want and then took these questions to our expert panel of judges, including editors, models, influencers, and women with other professional day jobs.
In a perfect world—hell, even just a world where brands would like to make more money—every retailer would offer sizes for every woman. Until then, you have this list. Happy shopping, truly. All winners were independently selected by our panel of judges. However, when you buy something through our retail links, we may earn an affiliate commission.
