The sector was in a downturn in the last five months of 2019, but factory activity grew in January.Economists had expected only 160,000 new jobs for January. In 2019, monthly job growth averaged 175,000.

Unemployment typically hits its lowest point before a downturn... and 97% of CFOs think we’ll have one in 2020. Add in the quantitative easing in 2019, things could start looking a lot like the tech bubble this year.
