"We're heading into a rough time. It's likely, if our trajectory is similar to that in the United Kingdom, that we could see as many as 200,000 cases a day," Dr. Tom Frieden said, adding the US likely won't see the"horrific death tolls" of earlier in the pandemic thanks to the number of vulnerable people who are vaccinated. But, he said,"You will see a steady increase in deaths, and these are preventable deaths.

Are you bringing back the death ticker? Is that not allowed with this administration....

The new normal I guess thanks to the MAGA mentality

Stop taking up healthcare resources treating unvaccinated patients with no solid medical reason for it. Send them home. They recover great. They die good riddance

Qhy are we so focused on vaccines vs theraputics? Oh wait I know. We already paid for the vaccines and a theraputic will end the EUA

Great. I have 2 kids headed to college in a few wks for what should be the normal college experience. Instead, they’ll probably wind up confined to their rooms. Classes are already switching to Zoom. Thanks anti-vaxxers.

Blame it on the Unvaccinated

It took US till the end of November 2020 to get there & now with close to half vaccinated we’re going to hit that number easier?

❗️

Koolaid drinking ppl die. I'm good with that.

Lockdown wave 2 on the way.

CNN bull💩!

The difference is there are far less hold-outs in the UK, Wales and Scotland have vaccinated 90% of those aged 18 and over with at least one dose, while England has reached 88% and Northern Ireland 82%.

We got close😢, I’m so disappointed

And vaccine....?I thought it works

This is entirely the fault of those who put the individual above the universal/ethical -- the quintessential egomaniacal self-centered asses.

Cue cult 45 and let them know a health professional is talking politics again. Lol.

Keep the fear going

You are a bunch of evil, manipulative hacks. If the same government that is telling you to fear the virus is also intentionally allowing in hundreds of thousands of unvaxxd illegal immigrants, it’s not about safety. It’s about control. Always has been, always will be.

Looks like people better get vaxed up quickly...or ELSE.

At some point this nonsense will have to stop. Clearly the vaccines aren’t as good as advertised, and most importantly the virus isn’t going anywhere so learning to live with the virus is the only way forward.

U.S. won't lift travel restrictions, citing spike in Covid delta variant casesCases are up among the unvaccinated and that increase appears likely to continue in the weeks ahead. I feel great sympathy for the people who cannot be vaccinated for legitimate medical reasons. As for the ones too ignorant or stupid to get vaccinated when they could? No loss.

U.S. won't lift travel restrictions, citing spike in Covid delta variant casesNEW: The US will not lift foreign travel restrictions due to concerns over the rise in Covid-19 delta variant cases, according to a White House official. The US currently bars entry for most noncitizens who within the last 14 days have been in the UK, European Union nations, Ireland, China, India, South Africa, Iran and Brazil. Unless they fly to Mexico and wander in illegally. Then they'll be provided services, resources and transpiration. Covid or not. This is just one of the reasons so many are ready to vote against the establishment and all of their fraud. We simple have nothing left to loose. Economy over common sense and human life’s. Let’s face reality. We live in an oligarchy where profit is all that matters. Therefore a vaccine that make billions for pharmaceutical companies is the choice. Even if it doesn’t work.
