'The reckoning of racist symbols has reached UT, where student-athletes—including football players and track stars—are leading a movement to ban 'The Eyes of Texas.' I stopped singing it a long time ago. Now it's time we all do the same.' SanyaRichiRoss

Deuce on the sidelines of a UT game.I no longer view the prejudices that plagues our country just through the lens of being a Black athlete, which I now realize comes with its own perks and privileges. Now I see everything as a Black mother and the hope for change has become more desperate.

Incoming UC President Michael V. Drake talks hip-hop, civil rights and climate changeMichael V. Drake, incoming president of the University of California, shares thoughts on hip-hop, civil rights and climate change in a livestreamed chat with Board of Regents Chairman John A. Perez. And no one cares 'climate change was the top concern raised' I'd offer that it's misleading to say Climate Change, CC, when you're actually talking about man-made CC, ACC . One exists and is always dramatic; the other is perceived/predicted to alter natural CC, but they are not one in the same 'critically important that we work to reverse the climate change that we’ve seen changing the ecosystem right before our eyes' What do you see Mr. Drake? Talking about CC, or ACC? Can you not speak like an educated man? You cannot roll back natural CC, and can't observe ACC.
