My experience: Apart from the cost, one site features exotic fashion pre-orders, but customers need patience; many items need several months for delivery. Another is very quick, but can have issues w/size exchanges since they source goods from minimally stocked, small boutiques.
Do NOT place orders in advance with Moda. It is a scam. Ordered many trunk show pieces, put down a big deposit and never received them. Had to repeatedly call, with no help from customer service, to get answers. Finally had to contact CFO to get money back. Awful.
two questions … online retail is, as far as I understand to tackle costs...so in truth the word luxury for online retails starts becoming a red herring for me...secondly,how are shoppers able to determine authenticity of their purchase especially in an age of so much online scam
