People have turned the interstate into the Autobahn. Still,I have not noticed a big increase ( if any) of speeders within our village limits. It's almost ironic that people appear to be in a big rush to places that are probably not even open.
I have seen the racing and high speeds on the NJ tpke and other highways. There is no fear of police right now.
Speed kills.
Without even reading the article, i can surmise that since there are less cars, there's more speeding, resulting in higher fatal crashes.
