The problem with Paula actually has little to do with whether or not she’s racist. It’s not so much a matter of the aftermath, but of how a woman like Paula got to be Paula in the first place.

You left out her mail order catalogs which preyed on people with bad credit. Refusing to cooperate with credit counseling services, and intentionally drove up balances on accounts that were defaulting by not closing any account with a balance.

Because the network who hosted her show latches onto someone and never knows when to stop. They are as much responsible for serving up diabetes as Paula is.
