The group first led with its debut entry"Heaven Knows" for five weeks in 2014. With five leaders, the band has the most No. 1s on the chart, which began in 1981, by a woman or an act fronted by a woman. It breaks out of a tie with the Lzzy Hale-helmedConcurrently,"Death By Rock and Roll" jumps 11-8 on the all-rock-format, audience-basedchart with 3.6 million audience impressions, up 3%, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. It's the band's highest-charting single on the survey, exceeding the No. 10 peak of"Heaven Knows.
Along with its mainstream rock base, the rock radio audience for the group's current hit is aided by budding alternative format airplay. "Death By Rock and Roll" is the lead single from The Pretty Reckless' upcoming album of the same name, its fourth overall and first since 2016's. A release date for the new LP has not yet been announced but it is expected in 2020.
