King County files charges against man who harassed Rep. Jayapal, issues warrant for his arrestThe King County Prosecutor's Office has now filed felony stalking charges against Brett Allen Forsell, the man police say harassed and threatened Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal at her Seattle home. If this man harassed and threatened me, he would have never been charged he would have been let go at once, and if I used a weapon to defend myself if he showed up again, they would probably charge me for assault. What an amazing time to be alive. I wonder if RepJayapal has a comment about the man who tried to assassinate one of her colleagues being released (before the Feds came in and arrested them) She’s not my favorite politician, and for a long time I lived in her district. That being said, no one should have their life threatened for doing their job. I do not support any violence against any person for doing their job. This is America. We need to get it back

Voters To Decide If County Supervisors Should Have Power to Remove SheriffThe vote was 4-1, with Supervisor Kathryn Barger opposing the idea. She has said allowing the board to remove a sheriff would be “diluting the voice of the voters.” To be fair, many voters barely know the Sheriff candidates.....And research from cerisecastle shows many are in gangs inside the department. Also, they may campaign on issues but do the opposite. Like Villanueva - threats to journalists, not allowing journalists in press conf. Shame on the board of supervisors for attempting to take our voice, our choice, our vote away..and they call themselves representatives of the people Not to mention the measure would be unconstitutional. Sheriff is an elected position, they don’t serve at the pleasure of the board. The way to remove a sitting sheriff would be through our recall process.
