have announced six intimate North American live shows in December. Following the release of their third reunion album without bassist Kim Deal earlier this year, the band will play three shows in California before heading to the East Coast.
The intimate tour will kick off with two shows at the Troubadour in West Hollywood on Dec. 2 and 3, then head to San Francisco for a Dec. 5 show at August Hall. In support of Beneath The Eyrie, the band will then play Webster Hall in New York on Dec. 9, Big Night Live in Boston on Dec. 11 and Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto on Dec. 12.
The band’s press release states that they are working to get tickets strictly in the hands of fans and not the secondary market. They have asked the shows’ promoters to remove any secondary site links and to use their anti-tout teams and technology to help thwart the scalpers. The band has also established that the shows’ setlists will vary from night to night “with every number determined just before it’s performed.
Tickets for the six North American dates will go on sale Friday at 10am local time. Check out a full list of dates below.12/3 -- Los Angeles, CA @ The Troubadour12/11 -- Boston, MA @ Big Night Live
