The sitcom starring Steve Carell will be available on NBCU's new streaming service after being one of the most popular offerings on Netflix.

Steve Carell appears in this scene from the NBC series"The Office," which will become exclusively available to NBCUniversal's streaming service starting in 2021.

The company announced Tuesday that it has reached a five-year deal to put the series on the new service, which is expected to be launched in 2020. Netflix has the rights to “The Office” through next year. “‘The Office’ has become a staple of pop-culture and is a rare gem whose relevance continues to grow at a time when fans have more entertainment choices than ever before,” Bonnie Hammer, chairman of NBCUniversal Direct-to-Consumer and Digital Enterprises, said in a statement. “We can’t wait to welcome the gang from Dunder Mifflin to NBCUniversal’s new streaming service.”

I thought Hulu was NBCUniversal. Are they gonna pull all that content, too?

That’s cool...I’ve already watched all of the office like a million times already.

Bound to be riddled with ads and poor streaming, this sucks.

WhitePeople are gonna be HELLA mad at this. This is gonna be them soon:

Fine by me, leaves room for something that is actually clever, funny & original rather than a pale ripoff of a British comedy.

You know you're advertising for your competition netflix ?

Unpopular opinion: the most overrated show ever!

Whatever I will just buy the box set. TheOffice

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN, what does it mean

Everybody’s streaming these days. The death of cable is upon us and a brand new tv racket will be born! 🤘🏻

Welp, CBS made me quit Star Trek.

Wait. I left my tupperware in there.

I’ll miss it cuz I’ll be dicked if I pay for another streaming service nobody asked for.

aavelg ima lose my shit
