The New 'Riverdale' Trailer Reveals What Archie Will Do in Order to Get Over His Father's Death

for the season and honestly, it reveals a lot about what we can expect this time around. So, while we wait for October 9th at 8 PM ET to roll around so we can be reunited with our fave foursome, let's see what's to come this season onWe already knew that the first episode of season four would be dedicated to the late Luke Perry, and now we know how the news of Fred's death will be revealed to Archie.

Mad Dog and Archie decide to turn the gym into a community center. They start teaching boxing lessons to kids, and they extend the hours so that kids, like Mad Dog's brother, will have somewhere to go after school and will stay off the streets as a result. It seems like they will have an opening for the community center, and Archie's mom is very impressed, telling him that his father would be proud too.While laying in bed, Veronica compliments Archie on what looks like a pair of superhero tights, telling him that while he looks good in them, he shouldn't use them to fight crime. Archie responds by saying,"Of course not. I'm going to need a mask." We then get a shot of someone putting on what looks like the Black Hood mask.

Later in the trailer, Jughead seems to attack Brett and yells at him to,"shut your mouth." So, it looks like things are going to escalate pretty quickly.At the end of season three, we learn that Alice Cooper was working with the FBI to take downwith the help of her and FP's son, Charles. Now, Charles is in Riverdale, trying to help find Alice who disappeared with the rest of the cult at the end of last season, but it seems like things aren't going too well.

"Tonight makes five days without contact," Charles tells Betty."She's never been MIA longer than four."
