Leetona Dungay took the stand just after lunch on the 15th and final day of the inquest into her son's death.

Leetona told the court about David: born in Kempsey in 1989, a"dearly loved boy" who started playing football when he was five years old. At the time of his death, David was serving nine and a half years in prison for robbery, attempted aggravated sexual intercourse, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

She paused and eyed the 13 lawyers in the courtroom, all representing various people involved in the inquest. "Screaming ‘I can’t breathe’ to his last gasp," she said."One minute my beautiful son was alive and the next he was dead."

Nurses Who Tried To Revive An Aboriginal Man Who Died In Custody Had Only Done CPR On Training Dummies'It was a challenging situation and we all were distressed … I think we did our best in the best interests of the patient.' The hope is that this - as with all questionable medical mishaps and mistake - will be looked at by competent professionals - and insure that situations like this will won't be repeated. And not sweep the issue under a rug... At least they tried! This does not ring true. A person with high blood sugar eating crackers is no kind of emergency. Something else was going on. Oh, and BTW, you can't learn/practice CPR on a live person. Using it is for people with no heart beat or respirations.

This Man Thought His Aboriginal Background Meant He Couldn’t Be Deported To New Zealand“There are very clear criteria under the Citizenship Act about who is and who isn’t an Australian citizen, and Aboriginality is just not a factor.” This is despicable. I’m glad he won but it’s evil how this this a thing. The Aussie gov has nothing better to do than to harass POC? Maybe he doesn't feel represented by Australia. While I understand the point this article is trying to make... but I can also see how there might be a difference between heritage and citizenship... I don‘t know... difficult topic...

Justice Dept. says American-born ISIS bride not a US citizenThe Justice Department is contending that an American-born ISIS bride who drew President Donald Trump's ire last month as she made public pleas to return home with her young son is not a US citizen. Are we supposed to believe the same Justice Department that trump told, through his top aide, to prevent the AT&T transaction? If this woman is NOT a U.S. citizen then follow established procedure. Presently, the Justice Dept. is on shaky ground. Of course!!! Can we stop stupidity?!
