This week, the January 6 committee will unveil new, highly consequential revelations, likely related to the alleged communications between Trump's White House and the rioters.

The select committee will reconvene this week for what may be its final public hearing before it issues a report later this year. And while lawmakers have been somewhat tight-lipped about the focus of Wednesday’s session, it is expected to include highly consequential revelations about the insurrection. “I think it’ll be potentially more sweeping than some of the other hearings,” California Congressmanon Sunday.

Considering the breadth of the hearings thus far, it might seem like few stones were left unturned. But several tidbits around the attack and its lead-up have already emerged in recent days, including information about the apparent communications between Trump's White House and Capitol rioters ahead of the insurrection.
