ByFAIRBANKS, Alaska - Usually on Tuesdays it would be time for five fresh new plays, showcasing athletes from around the interior.
But for this week we are doing it a little different, and we are going to pick the winner of the i5 early, like today. Instead of one winner there are actually three winners for this week. They are in no particular order, the Lathrop, North Pole, and West Valley High School ski teams. A big shout out to these three teams.
All three teams were stuck in Valdez, due to the large amount of snow received in the area. They made the best out of a bad situation by helping out around the town with shoveling a lot of the buildings out and making accessibility easier for everyone in town.Friday we will have a story with one of the teams about the crazy experience.
