The Hurry-Up: Ohio State offered six more prospects on Thursday, with three going to recruits from the 2023 class and three more going to 2024 prospects.

Pettaway is a highly-coveted prospect in the cycle, considered to be the 42nd-best prospect and the eighth-best wideout in the 2023 class, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. He’s the seventh-ranked player in Texas.

In eight games for Langham Creek High School this past season, Pettaway caught 43 passes for 745 yards with seven receiving touchdowns. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound standout also returned punts and kicks for Langham Creek. Twenty-four Division I schools have extended an offer to Pettaway, including Florida, LSU, Texas, Texas A&M, Auburn, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Tennessee and USC.

Wilson, another four-star wideout, is considered the 228th-best player and the 28th-best wideout in the 2023 cycle. In nine games for Dekaney High School as a junior, Wilson had 34 receptions for 469 yards with eight receiving touchdowns. If Ryan Day wants to break out any wide receiver reverse pass trick plays in the future, Wilson may be an option to run those, as the 6-foot-1, 195-pound standout has also played quarterback in short spurts. He completed five of 12 passes for two touchdowns and one interception last season. Wilson has racked up 12 Division I offers thus far, including LSU, Texas A&M, Purdue, Houston, Baylor, Colorado and Arkansas.

Ohio State has now extended three offers to receivers from Texas in the last three days, as 2024 prospect

Do the Bucks consider moving him to the left side? Ryan Day didn't recruit someone good enough? That's worrying for the future if he didn't have the next man ready.
