The Grove in Anaheim could be impacted if the Angels build out their stadium parking lot. The concert venue is on land up for possible development.

The theater that staged the wildest celebration of the Angels’ lone World Series championship could be sacrificed so the Angels can build as freely as possible on the stadium parking lot.

The city and the Angels met for their second negotiating session Friday, with both sides hoping to strike a deal under which the team would stay in Anaheim for decades and would build shops, restaurants, hotels and other amenities on the parking lot around the stadium. “We are committed to our partnership with the City of Anaheim for years to come,” Alex Hodges, the chief executive officer of Nederlander Concerts, said in a statement.

Victoria's Secret kills its fashion show as it struggles for relevanceVictoria's Secret built its image on an angel-winged supermodel fantasy. But what was once a successful strategy has since alienated shoppers. They can come perform it at my place. Refreshments will be provided. Dumb move...won't increase their sales. Frankly it was all they had left to distinguish them from other lingerie companies. By struggle for relevance you mean Les Wexner hides from the press because he’s totally guilty of something crazy via Epstein?
