Accomodating portrait videographers like this will spell the doom of society...

For the millennials

So Stoopid....now I have to buy a wall mount, make sure it doesn’t knock anything over when rotating...an what when the motor dies the tv stuck?

Yes, because most of us don’t know how to properly record videos!

Not again lol. Keep it up FAKE NEWS you are on a roll ;)

What we need to do is teach kids 1) not to be on their phones all the daggum time; and 2) how NOT to shoot vertical video because it's annoying as hell and aesthetically displeasing.

Please don't enable the people who fail to comprehend how to hold their phone when taking video.

Only tweens make/watch videos in vertical mode. Us civilized folks know to film in horizontal mode.

Oh god are we in trouble. I mean just wow. This is what we’re doing with technology now?

So they designed a TV that can rotate because people can’t hold their phones horizontally when filming?!

Nah I'm good

👎

Wow I'm underwhelmed...why is this even a feature.

No one does this. I am a millennial. I hate vertical. I am not alone. Stop lying. All of your retweets are bots.

All must be online and hooked up to our brains in the future right..? Please leave me out of it, i dont need a rotating tv, a toilet that tells me i diddent close it, or a frigde that tells me my milk is sour, i can 'STILL' think thank you 🙏🏼♥️ thinktryitbeforeyourneighbour 🤔

35 yo Millennials: Mom and Mom, can I get the new Samsung tv in the basement? Moms: go ask your newly married to each other dads.

Stop lumping everyone under 40 as millennials.

This looks like it's going to be about as successful as 3D TVs.

why the fuck

Samsung's new Sero TV can rotate to play vertical or horizontal videos. Samsung designed Sero with Pokédex users in mind, and specifically Millennials who mostly watch and shoot vertical videos on their phones.

Isn’t it easier and cheaper to just turn your phone. 🤔

I love this

CocaCoder cykic_

Samsung....you're better than this!!! This is one useless feature!!!

Is that Shaq? notShaq

I really need that, said nobody, ever

Where my hdmi gonna rest peacefully at

stop catering to people who dont know how to take video properly. This will only reinforce their behavior

So it’s a TV with tilt tech and an auto swivel. Wow.

Ridiculous.

Just another gadget we don’t need

Meh.

Really 🙄🙄🙄

Nope.

Pass

If y’all just learn to hold your damn phones correctly while filming this unnecessary shit wouldn’t be happening...

How about camera apps for phones which go off like a fog horn if you try to film vertically? Only acceptable vertical video is insta/Snapchat stories. Tiktoks etc

I think it's better to design a smartphone that explodes into your face if you attempt to film vertically. That's is much better, solves the problem, and a lot more fun to watch from a safe distance.

Looks like a great idea, but it would be more practical if only the screen adjusts to different formats on the inside, not physically. Software is cheaper...

You better make sure you put a 5 year protection plan or knowing them they’ll have 2. One for the screen and one for the rotator. WhySamsungWhy

I am trying to remember how it was possible, when I was a kid, to lay on the floor and watch TV.

NOOOOOOOO!!!!! Just invent a smartphone that always records in landscape no matter how you hold the phone

What took so long Samsung ?

NO!!! Landscape people landscape!

Beautifulon God

This is the dumbest shit I’ve seen in a while.

Irregardless, the facts are that commies have infiltrated the U.S. of America Congress, local governments state governments and of course American air waives. The problem is Our POTUS must deal with such which was sanctioned by previous POTUSES.

🇯🇵🤝🇺🇸

Now find a tv cabinet this fits in.

Omg

even Satan isnt evil enough to record vertically

But...why?

I wish TV and/or media were options in this ongoing hostage scenario. But then again My Human and Civil Rights would be wonderful. A roof over my head and income to pay for it would be phenomenal, but I'd need this hostage scenario over with, I'd watch CNN on my Samsung.

just like every modern computer monitor

So now we have developed a TV for all those idiots who do not know to rotate the phone when they are taking a video?! Natural selection is truly dead.
