Television and Berlanti Productions, who provided “Hartley Sawyer will not be returning for Season 7 of ‘The Flash.’ In regards to Mr. Sawyer’s posts on social media, we do not tolerate derogatory remarks that target any race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, or sexual orientation.
The tweets in question date mainly from 2012 and 2014, including this one: “The only thing keeping me from doing mildly racist tweets is the knowledge that Al Sharpton would never stop complaining about me.”

Sounds like he went through some self growth after sending those awful tweets. He really should have deleted them if that were true. Not a big loss to the show. They made the right move.
Kind of makes the whole show/cast hypocritical, since it is about looking for the good in people, forgiveness, etc. even wayward souls. Tweets from 6-8 years ago out of thousands he tweeted, comes back to haunt him & destroy his career. Someone really must hate him!
