The White House announced Monday that the COVID-19 national public health emergency will end in May, meaning that many of the benefits that were in place during the emergency will expire. Here's what you need to know

Medicare and Medicaid recipients will no longer have treatments, such as monoclonal antibodies, covered like they were during the emergency. Medicaid recipients will still have their vaccines and COVID-19 tests ordered by a medical provider covered at no charge. However, they might still have to pay for treatments.
