Essay: Despite the stereotypes, Millennials aren’t social justice warriors and Baby Boomers aren’t climate skeptics. If we’re going to work together, it’s time to get past generational myths.

Everyone knows the drill by now when it comes to classifying Americans by generations. Baby Boomers, born between 1945 and 1964, are portrayed as a selfish generation who have “ruined everything” for the young. Millennials, born 1981 to 1996, are narcissists, accused of “killing” institutions ranging from marriage to the napkin industry. Gen Z, the current youngest generation of adults born since 1996, are called snowflakes, a coddled cohort scared of “adulting.

These stereotypes generate endless satire on social media. The hashtag #millennialproblems collects fake tweets that play to the absurdity of the clichés, such as “I cut my finger slicing open an avocado and now I can’t fix my topknot.” Two American 20-year-olds set up a Facebook group where “we all pretend to be boomers,” which has nearly 300,000 members, with content that’s a mix of capitalized political rants , disgusting medical queries and incompetent use of graphics .

How can anyone not want to help the future for our planet, they’re planet safer environment. Are there that many blinded people. Some ancient myths are not just coincidental and most myths are found resembling the same yet thousands miles away. Regardless it’s selfish not caring
