' Schneider, whose father, Abe Schneider , ran Columbia Pictures, was Hollywood counterculture: alternative, independent and, most important, successful. With Bob Rafelson , he produced 'The Monkees,' 'Easy Rider' — we get a Dennis Hopper caricature here, played by Chris Brochu — and 'Five Easy Pieces.
