Burger King's foray into plant-based burgers arrived in 2019 with the arrival of the Impossible Whopper — the earliest of any fast food restaurant in the US to introduce a permanent veggie burger option to their menu. The Impossible Whopper can be made vegan by ordering it without cheese and avoiding any mayo or sauces that may come along with it.
