PARIS—The soccer world knew long before last weekend that Ada Hegerberg is the best women’s player on the planet right now. But with three goals in the first half-hour of the Champions League final, she reminded everyone anyway.
By the end of the evening, Hegerberg had her fourth consecutive Champions League title. Which paired quite nicely with her fourth consecutive French league title and her third French Cup. It meant that since joining Olympique Lyonnais in 2014, the 23-year-old from Norway had lifted 11 of the 12 trophies...

Women's teams deserve more recognition especially where they are out performing their male counterparts. This case is not unique to Norway, USA, Canada are 2 more where pay/recognition are not par though the women are higher ranked. equality womensport
