You may not realize it, but the 100th anniversary of Walt Disney Pictures is coming next year. In 1923, Walt Disney and his brother, Roy, struck out on their own. And in the subsequent decades, the Disney brothers and their successors have transformed their little studio into the biggest media outlet in Hollywood. And Disney was among the heavyweight studios even before it purchased Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century Fox.
