‘The Apprentice’ Director Offers Trump Film Screening Following Campaign’s Lawsuit Threat

Returning to the topic at hand, he added: “This ‘film’ is pure malicious defamation, should not see the light of day, and doesn’t even deserve a place in the straight-to-DVD section of a bargain bin at a soon-to-be-closed discount movie store, it belongs in a dumpster fire.

At a press conference for the film, Abbasi didn’t directly address the scene. He did, however, mention that he hopes an uncut version of the film can land in U.S. theaters this September ahead of the election.
