The 10 most Earth-like exoplanets

lies about 1,200 light-years away and, due to its large size, is within the range of potentially rocky planets that may hold oceans. This planet is at most 10 percent larger than Earth, and it also appears to reside in the habitable zone of its star, though on the zone's outer edge;Kepler-186f's parent star is a red dwarf, so the alien world is not a true Earth twin. The planet lies about 500 light-years from Earth.

in 2021, found that this exoplanet may receive enough light to sustain a large biosphere. The researchers analysed the likelihood of different planets to be able to carry out photosynthesis. They found that Kepler-442b receives sufficient radiation from its star.

. Kepler-452b is 60 percent larger than Earth and its parent star is 10 percent larger than the sun. Kepler-452 is very similar to our sun, and the exoplanet orbits in the habitable zone. has a"better than even chance" of being rocky, its discoverers have said. Kepler-452b resides 1,400 light-years from Earth. It takes Kepler-452b just 20 days longer to orbit its star than Earth does.

During the initial data collection from the telescope, a computer algorithm misidentified the astronomical body, according toKepler-1649c is located 300 light-years from Earth and is only 1.06 times larger than it. When comparing the light that the two planets receive from their stars, scientists found that this exoplanet receives 75 percent of the light Earth does from the sun.

Although the exoplanet can be found in the habitable zone of its star, Proxima Centauri, it is exposed to extreme ultraviolet radiation. This is because it lies very close to its parent star and has an orbital period of just 11.2 days.Orbiting the star TRAPPIST-1 are the most Earth-sized planets ever discovered in the habitable zone of a single star. This planetary system is made up of seven worlds.

Let space travellers worry about such unnecessary things. I love this PlanetEarth, and would rather cherish and maintain it. Planets, Space, SpaceExploration, Technology

One day. Planet hopping instead of bar. Space cruise instead of Caribbean cruise.

none of them.

'it's a relief to know that your technical phase is so primitive, preventing you from doing this for at least the next couple of centuries.'

Incoming message.Source=? 'Don't even think of it. Forget it! No allowance for other planets until you have cleaned up the incredible f. mess you have created on this planet Earth! I saw the films Independence Day. The real locusts are already on Earth since 100 000s of years!'

Will be needed some time soon.

So we need to send 10 single man missions, one to each to see how habitable they are and send a signal back to earth.

Gets it developed then we destroy it too 💔 Prolly until we run out of habitable planets, 'if we had'

Ruining one planet by humanity is probably enough

Love this topic .

When can I get a flight out to one of these planets? Because this one’s a little nuts.

They gotta have life just not one we can live through even if we tried. They must have different humans.

Hard to tell how good of a candidate these are for colonization without getting an atmospheric profile, we're probably better off strip mining the asteroid belt and building O'Neill Cylinders until then.

Keep looking

6 or 10?

Hi, I am a structural engineer from Iran who have many ideas. I have summarized some of my ideas on my twitter(I suggest look at the idea of generating electricity by gravity). I want to work with companies and investors. Do you want to cooperate?

Hopefully never to be visited by humans.
