CLEVELAND, Ohio – If 2021 marked a return to normal for the live music industry, 2022 will look to build on the momentum. The slate of summer concerts this season features a collection of Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, hometown heroes, newcomers on the verge of stardom and legends making what may be their final runs.
And it’s not just the recently announced shows. Fans have been holding onto hope and tickets for certain shows for the past couple of years. Now, they’ll finally get to see the likes of Nine Inch Nails, Rage Against the Machine, The Doobie Brothers, Halsey and others. Here’s a look at the 50 most anticipated concerts of the upcoming season , from this weekend’s big gigs through the end of September.Believe it or not, it hasn’t been that long since the legendary, 1980s new wave act Tears for Fears performed in Northeast Ohio. The band played Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on its 2017 tour. This time around, the bands will playand will be promoting new material. Tears for Fears dropped its first studio album in 18 years, “The Tipping Point,” earlier this year.
